Introducing Eufy Robovac 11s by Anker; an advanced vacuum cleaner with infrared sensors for proper evading of obstacles, drop sensors for safety from dropping, the slimmest body with an anti-scratch glass cover on the top, more suction power at 1300 Pa as well.
But the irony is any device can perform at its best in the beginning, but after days, it will have to drop its performance. The days can be 30 or 365, either.
Just similar to your Anker Eufy Robovac 11s. And that’s why we will discuss Eufy Robovac 11s troubleshooting today.
We will represent the issues, troubles, and fixes in this troubleshooting session.
The whole presentation will be in a random order, so make sure you don’t miss any part of the article.
Okay, starting from the beginning, Whenever you are buying a Eufy Robovac 11s, you will first try to activate the device.
We’re dropping some troubleshoots to the activation problem first.
Eufy Robovac 11s Troubleshooting
Activation
Check if the power button position is “I” or not. The I means your device is turned on.
Your device should be charged first. It is highly recommended for any user charge it in full for the first time and then go through these procedures.
Next comes an essential fact; the remote. What if you have started the device and yet have not checked if there is any battery in the remote or not?
Put 2 AAA batteries into the remote. If confused about the battery expiry, then get new batteries for the remote and start fresh.
And another thing you need to remember about the remote is the range. Your remote controller range is 16 ft or 5 m. If you get out of the range, this will be unusable.
Whatever, it is possible that, after these steps, still the device is in trouble, then turn the device off. And they turn on again. This time it may work.
Suppose you are doing well with your device. But of a sudden, your Robovac 11s have just stopped working.
After activation, you will need to connect your robovac to mobile for expanded access.
Connect Robovac 11s to Wi-Fi on Android
First thing first, you need to download and install the EufyHome app from the play store on your android phone.
Keep in mind that you must be connected to Wi-Fi that has 2.4 GHz internet.
Also, permit your software location access on the phone. Now go through the steps below;
- Tap on ‘Add Device’, and select your vacuum model.
- Type down your Wi-Fi password as the software asks for it. Confirm the wifi indicator on your device is blinking slowly.
- On the app, click on ‘Go to Wi-Fi settings. Make sure your phone and vacuum are connected with the same Wi-Fi. Wait until the connection procedure is done automatically.
- And you are done. Personalize your vacuum by giving it a name. That’s it.
The next thing a user needs to worry about can be the charging
Robovac is not charging
There are a few types of incidents, such as the device not charging or not getting back to the dock for charging.
Firstly, if the device is on charge and still not indicating the charging light, that means there is any trouble that needs to be fixed.
Sometimes there may be junk or dust stuck in the charging clips. As a result, it cannot get connected to the clips properly. And this may stop your device from charging.
Even a rare issue can happen as your main power outlet cannot deliver adequate power flow for your vacuum.
This may also stop charging for lower voltage issues. Better change the outlet as soon as possible.
If your robovac is not returning to the base, remove any object from the left 3 ft and right 6 ft of the base.
This will solve the issue. Also, keeping the charging pins clean is highly recommended.
Don’t place the base in between very complicated and messy locations. This may confuse the sensors.
Regarding charging and indications, beeping and red light codes should be included.
Robovac 11s Beeps and Red-Light Flashing (Error Codes)
- No indicator- Device is Off
- Solid Blue- This can indicate standby position, Cleaning, or even the device fully charged.
- Solid Orange- This means low power, and it is returning to the dock or base.
- Breathing Orange- Indicates Charging.
- Blinking / Solid Red + Beeping – Error indication according to the beeps we are explaining below)
- One beep- Robovac’s Left or right wheel is stuck.
- Two beeps- Brush is stuck
- Three Beeps- Suction Fan Stuck
- Four Beeps- Rolling brush is stuck.
A very common trouble with your Robovac 11s is stuck brush or wheels
Robovac Wheels and Brush Stuck
We won’t emphasize this factor too much.
Whenever you are facing some irregular movement of your 11s, or it seems to be stuck, Check if the wheels or the brushes are stuck or not.
For stuck wheels, clean them with brushes and remove any cotton or flint, or hairs as well. This is a complex manual job for you, and you will get it on your own when you visualize the issue.
But for brushes, the issue is a bit different. Check if the brush is rolling or not, and then
- First, remove the rolling brush and clean it properly; more importantly, the two ends of the rolling brush.
- Clean the connectors properly.
- Check whether the roller brush guards are installed properly or not.
- If possible, try roller brush replacement.

Device Running in Circle
This cannot be termed an issue. But some users start a function in their device which lets your vacuum work in a circular path. This is a working mode of Robovac 11s; not an issue.
Turn this mode off, and Robovac will work in linear paths.
Drop Sensor Not Working
This fact is a bit controversial. Your device has to deal with a lot of dust. Meanwhile, covering the sensor eye with dust is very common.
When the drop sensor eye is covered with dust, the device cannot detect falls and drop from any vulnerable location.
So, ensure you keep the drop sensor clean so that you don’t need to face this kind of trouble.
Robovac 11s Has Stopped Working.
The very first thing you need to check is the battery. Let me tell you why!
When you are using the device as your regular accessory, the battery is being a small amount of degradation every day.
At a certain moment, the device gets incapable of running the whole machine, and simply the machine gets stopped.
Or even if the charge is too unstable, like it’s 0% from 20 % in a moment, it’s vulnerable.
Your device can not warn you of the lower battery charge. So, it will be stopped suddenly here and there.
The next thing a user needs to check properly is if the 11s is stuck with dust, flints, debris, and similar objects.
Keep in mind that this device has to deal with amounts of dust every day. So, being stuck with dust is a pretty normal kind of trouble.
Once some fiber-type dust or cotton and similar objects are stuck with the cleaner’s wheels, it prevents easy moving.
Also, in the situation worse, the dirt can clog up the axle and prevent the device from moving properly.
In this kind of situation, you have to clean the wheel or the axle properly. A brush is a perfect tool for it. You may need a toothpick and isopropyl alcohol as well.
And if it is not fixed yet. Straight turn the device off and then wait a while for 2 seconds. After that, turn it back on. It will command your device to force run again.
So long with the hardware solution, let’s talk about software.
Firmware Update
You should always keep your firmware up to date to get a better UI and Bug-free experience.
- Put the device on charging.
- Make sure your wifi is stable enough.
- Choose robovac from the app; tap on the three dots in the corner.
- You will find the Firmware Update menu and click on that.
It may turn into a nightmare if the update is failed in the mid-time,
But don’t worry, the software from Eufy is developed enough for it. Do not panic or turn off the device.
Things will start again and lead to the complete procedure.
If the update still fails, contact your nearest Eufy Customer Service.
Again we recommend avoiding intentional mistakes that stop the update at the mid-time.
Sometimes, you may face software bugs that are not getting away.
Also, after using a lot of days, the device’s memory gets laggy, and it needs a refresh. How you do it by resetting the device.
Reset Your Eufy Robovac 11s
A hard reset may clean the caches of your vacuum memory and give it a fresh start.
If the device stops working suddenly and you may find no hardware trouble, the issue is surely from the software. Then there is no way to go for a hard reset. Here is how to do it;
- Push and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- You will hear a beep sound which indicates your reset is completed.
